Shari graduated from ICT Kikkawa College, Toronto, in 1999. Since graduation, Shari has gained extensive clinical experience treating amputees, scar tissue, breast cancer clients and pro sport related injuries.
Shari continues to study complementary healing modalities, and she has received certification/accreditation in Myofascial Release (levels 1-4), massage therapy and cancer, concussion, chronic pelvic pain, aging brain and dementia, advanced prenatal massage, strain/counterstrain, rotator cuff injuries, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, fibromyalgia, suikodo, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), taping, arthritic conditions, and autoimmune disorders. She is currently pursuing her certification through the Dr. Vodder School in Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD).
She has directed part of her discipline towards helping women who are going through breast cancer treatment or augmentation. Through myofascial release techniques, MLD, frictioning techniques, and client self-educating, Shari can decrease the appearance and restrictions of the scars, increase range of motion of the effected shoulder and help decrease pain. Her practice also focuses on athletes of all ages, repetitive injuries, muscles/scars surrounding joint replacements and regular maintenance massages.
