Getting Back to You

Physiotherapy deals with restoring and maintaining functional movement, reducing pain and promoting health.
Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals. We combine hands-on skills and clinical knowledge of how the body works to treat a variety of injuries and conditions including (but not limited to):

  • Whiplash Associated Disorders and cervicogenic headaches
  • Sprains, strains, tears, ruptures, dislocations, subluxations and fractures
  • Tendonitis and bursitis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Joint pain
  • Neck and low back pain
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
  • Sports injuries
  • Pre and post surgical rehabilitation
  • Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and pre and postpartum treatment

Physiotherapists are extensively trained in manual therapy and exercise prescription. This means we use a variety of techniques to physically treat tissue and provide tailored exercise programs to improve function. We also may use modalities to compliment treatment (ex. Heat, ice, TENS, ultrasound, tape).
